"I met Mike Rocket in the Parking Lot of The Wachovia Center in Philadelphia. I was going to see Bruce Springsteen. Mike was playing his guitar and gathering names and emails. I was immediately connected to the hardest working man in music. He is infectious, entertaining, and a hell of a nice guy. Hell, once he wrote a song about me. How could I not like him. Mike Rocket is the real thing, his music is fun, and he's everywhere. Give him a listen." --- Razz On The Radio 92.5XTU Philadelphia.

Joe Wawyrzniak, Jersey Beat CD Review:
MIKE ROCKET AND THE STARS - Attn: Mr. Davis
A neatly boppin' serving of engagingly pure, lively and upbeat pop-rock joy and vigor that's done with a winning blend of touching thoughtfulness and arresting tunefulness. Singer/songwriter Mike Rocket belts out the pleasant songs in a nicely clear and soothing voice. Rocket's songwriting gets straight to the point and effectivelymines a moving line in rueful reflectivity. The tightly harmonic arrangements likewise do the trick with a certain amiable directness: the ringing guitars, smooth basslines and steady drums deliver a snappy succession of strong beats and brisk tempos that chug along at a satisfyingly laid-back, yet constant clip. But what really makes this album such a snazzy winner is the feeling of total sincerity that permeates every last sweetly vibrant note like a colorful rainbow stretching across the sky on a lovely spring day. A very nifty and delightful little beaut.
Brandon Dilks (State of Music) "The energy Mike performs with is second to none. From the first song I was blown away...Everyone in the room was blown away with the intensity ... This guy is a REAL performer and really shines on stage ...From a 1 to 10 this review gets a perfect 10...After seeing Mike live, I know this guy is for real and everyone should go out and catch some of his upcoming shows.... his POWERFUL STAGE PERFORMANCE earned him a perfect 10 for the show review."

"Their music resembles classic rock mixed with a soulful edge. The lyrics in the songs vary from fun to serious, light-hearted to bittersweet. .....The mixture of strong vocals and musical interlude define the style of the band. ....Rocket would get the audience involved by jumping on the tables and singing to individuals. Mike Rocket and the Stars is truly a unique band that strives to touch people's lives."
